As of today, the Lexington Inn is now offering a 12 oz. ICEE in place of a soft drink and dessert as part of meal plan swipes.

Tony Meek, ARAMARK food service director, said he was excited to announce this and hear feedback from students himself.

While the 12 oz. ICEE is included in a meal, there is also a 16 oz. and a 22 oz. option. To upgrade to a larger size, students can pay a small cash price.

Available flavors include Strawberry Lemonade, Coke and Mountain Dew.

“We choose the most popular flavors that we think people will like,” Meek said.

David Parks, junior media communications major, was one of the first students in line.

“This is a welcome change, and I plan on getting an ICEE for just about every meal now,” Parks said.
