The funeral service for Keith Absher, dean of McAfee School of Business, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 27 at Englewood Baptist Church. Englewood will also host the visitation Thursday, March 26 from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Absher passed away early in the morning March 24. He had worked at Union since 2004, according to a faculty directory. His wife, Beverly, is associate vice president for auxiliary operations and chair of the department of continuing studies at Union.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Dr. R. Keith Absher Memorial Scholarship Fund at either Union University or the University of North Alabama Florence, according to an obituary on the Arrington Funeral Directors website.
