In celebration of National Chemistry Week, the chemistry department is out to make every student feel in their element.

All week, students walking to White Hall can stroll on the periodic table. Every element is drawn out in colorful sidewalk chalk.

On Wednesday, chemistry students will be giving out liquid nitrogen ice cream from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in front of Brewer Dining Hall.

Brown bag seminars, where students present their research from the past summer, will be offered in the dining hall at noon on Wednesday and Friday and 12:15 on Thursday.

The celebration will culminate on Friday, with the crowning of the mole king and queen at 12:45 p.m. and lights and fireworks at 7 p.m.
