Dear Union Community,
The last six days have been difficult knowing that the Union Community is hurting and not being able to be present with you.
Our prayers have been with you, but we certainly wish we could be there physically as well.
Please know that I have been keeping apprised of the developments.
Even as tragic as this situation is, the grace and love for which Union is known have been evident as you have cared for and ministered to one another.
What a blessing to be a part of such a community of faith in both word and deed.
At moments like these we lean on God, our very present help; cling to Christ, the anchor for our souls, and seek comfort and guidance from the Spirit.
My words are inadequate to communicate my love for you, but I did want you to know I am with you in spirit.
Know, too, that we continue to lift our Union family up to our Father asking that you be buoyed by His precious steadfast love and that we look forward to being with you again soon.
With deep appreciation,
