Fall enrollment increases for 16th year

For the 16th consecutive year at Union, fall enrollment has increased to a record-breaking 4,288 students.

For the third straight year, undergraduate enrollment at Union surpassed 3,000 students and came in at 3,028.

At an all-time high, graduate enrollment is at 1,260. This year’s total enrollment shows an increase of 26 students from last year.

“We rejoice that Union University has been blessed in an extraordinary way with 16 consecutive years of enrollment increases,” said Union President David Dockery. “We are grateful to God for each and every student that has chosen to attend Union University and we wish the best for them in their educational pursuits.”

Dockery began his tenure as university president in the fall of 1996 with 1,972 students.

This year’s enrollment numbers depict a 117 percent increase from 17 years ago.
