On Sept. 10-11, four students attended the Enactus Northwest Arkansas Partner Summit in Bentonville, Ark.

Jonathan Ervin, John Melton, Kristen Miller and Tricia Taylor, all senior business administration majors, networked with numerous top executives from top companies such as Walmart, PepsiCo, Crayola, Unilever, MOM brands and BIC.

At the conference, the students attended sessions on topics such as “How We Talk to Your Customers” and “Retail Talent” and heard about Walmart’s expansion of its Neighborhood Markets and Express Stores.

After the retail session, students discussed their thoughts on the presentation with the Enactus corporate partners in attendance.

“Because of our involvement in Enactus, this was a great opportunity us to learn more about the world of business,” said Kristen Miller.
